Lots of responses to HM Treasury’s consultation on regulating cryptoassets.
Turns out when you ask industry in good faith for help on regulatory environment they engage with balance and nuance.
List of the ones I’ve seen below (I think they’ll get 10x what’s on this list):
@cobie max pain for god when he sees people all communicating between themselves in a common digital language and building sick digital tower and tries to scatter everyone across the earth but we already scattered
BB, having been completely ruined by cobie, stops doing paid shit, stops being a piece and tries to use his riches to be additive not extractive. Cobie (always balanced in public about BB) says one nice thing about him coz he’s fair and understands nuance and CT begins simp fest.
@Cryptoking@RBReich Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.
Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.
Painful, but necessary.
Happy 14th birthday to Satoshi Nakamoto’s whitepaper! It has led to innovation and crypto asset investing. Let’s make sure as crypto enters its 15th year that investors get proper protection.
lmao man has success in regulatory arena with… *checks notes* … a normal custodian business, then gives up when conversations about a completely alternative financial system get difficult…
7) There are a huge number of possibly paths here--some fairly subtle--and I worry that some people haven't fully thought out, empirically, what the result would be of possible decisions we could make.
But hopefully I'm wrong about that.
Crypto Twitter, take the wheel.
