@tanayj Total loss for reality labs is now at 40B with losses planned to increase in 2024 with the release of the new oculus headset. When asked about the return on these investments, zuck said he feels it’s the right move in the long term.

@tanayj The impact of the reality labs losses (~40B so far) is really weighing on #META. Sure Zuck turns out to be right but it’s going to take a while to play out.
@fahdananta I think Resy could be a big beneficiary. Tried to look into it but there’s not much data available post their acquisition and #AXP isn’t reporting standalone Resy numbers.
It's crazy how PyTorch has taken over TensorFlow in the last couple of years. The community really rallies around #META open-source libraries, React comes to mind. I would bet that Llama finds similar success/adoption.
