Spending a significant portion of your young life living in countries extremely different from your own and becoming fluent in the local languages is a huge mind fuck. Culture shock basically never ends
Such a huge amount of human behavior/social phenomena can be explained through the lens of people doing everything in their power to not accept an uncomfortable fact
@mert Many people completely ignore PMF/UX in crypto because they have blind faith in some vague idea that everything will just work itself out. Imagine explaining L2s to your grandma.
@0xTrill @solana Building a decentralized insurance protocol. Protecting users against hacks, and integrating with oracles to cover the off-chain world.
Instead of finding some optimized solution to mitigate MEV within the constraints given by the L1, why not question the constraints themselves? Why was X decision made at L1? Can we change it? Crazy I see basically 0 conversations like this in the Ethereum ecosystem
So much of the conversation around the future of Ethereum, L2s etc. revolves around quirks/inefficiencies that exist as a result of upstream (L1 level) design decisions without questioning the decisions themselves (1/2)
@reddit_lies Optimizing American infra for cars is one of the biggest contributing factors to how fucking boring it is to live there for most ppl, obesity, furries, etc. Get your shit together
