despite all the heat @LayerZero_Labs gets from the airdrop fiasco + "proof of donation" drama - i am still fairly convinced that $ZRO at the current level of <3bn FDV is a clear bid
a) a weak argument would be that the previous round is raised by 3bn FDV led by @a16z and other top tier venture funds; which technically should give a psychological floor to traders and shorter time frame investors
b) even w/ farming activities exhausting LayerZero at <3bn FDV still sees >10x more traction in terms of daily cross chain messages sent compared to closest comp @wormhole and @axelarnetwork which appears to me as a clear dislocation of traction versus valuation w/ both trading at a similar range
LayerZero has to date integrated w/ >80 chains + >54k applications facilitating >40k daily transaction per day versus Wormhole + Axelar both doing on average 4k daily messages
+ deliberately stripping away messages # sent by the @PythNetwork oracle in the comparison since i think they should be considered as low value to the protocol as they do not facilitate much "transactions" or "value transfer"
c) strong brand equity + lindy effect which gives LayerZero a lead in the interoperability arena; as mentioned about LayerZero has already integrated w/ >80 chains + >54k applications + there are some fundamental flaws in competitors’ designs and roadmap which would continue give LayerZero its lead
whereas although Axelar has already connected w/ 65 chains + <750 GMP contracts most of them are Cosmos SDK chains; and only 14 of those are EVM chains and that top GMP contract is @squidrouter facilitating mostly token transfers use cases
+ not to mention Axelar’s scalability would be subject to more inflation if they were to support more EVM chains which seems to be where most activities are at now (i.e. each supported chains translates to 0.3% annual token inflation)
same for Wormhole; >50% of cross chain messages (excluding Pyth) are to facilitate portal bridge which again are token transfer use case; once again showing the lack of progress in business development effort
the case of LayerZero in this regards is apparently more spread out; @StargateFinance although being still their primary use case only takes up >20% of daily messages sent not to mention the long tail applications using the tech but now showing up in the dashboard
d) some more high level or philosophical argument would be that LayerZero is building something one layer beneath everyone else in the entire cross chain transportation stack which could entail a much bigger TAM and hence a premium in terms of the valuation
i previously argued Wormhole + Axelar are merely selling “trust” to whichever application integrated w/ them; the former sells trust by “stakeholders” and the latter sells trust by “crypto economics” and that both could be integrated in the DVN architecture
nothing against building trust based infrastructure; it is just that i also agree that there are specific tradeoffs to be made depending on use cases
a counter argument could be made here that value accrual might not go to the transportation layer itself when the verification goes elsewhere; but again the point is more on how LayerZero entails covering a bigger scope and therefore warrants a valuation premium
+ there is ongoing debates between LayerZero versus Across which is apparently one of the better products in the token transfers vertical even compared to Stargate which is tapping into the intent based system; but again one is to assume most future use cases to be token transfer for this claim to make more sense
again - i think $ZRO at current level a) shows a clear dislocation of metrics versus valuation + b) misunderstood product w/ ongoing FUDs
but comes w/ a badass founding + BD team which make me believe that they would continue win this competitive race
Here are the positive things @ZssBecker has to say in his recent video below about $CROWN @photofinishgame
"I think $CROWN is going to do stupid well!"
"I have a pretty big bag in it"
@cryptocevo got me into CROWN early last year. Thank you sir 🫡. Take notice peeps 👀🧠
@Damocles_Crypto Be careful, I asked in the tg what this addy is about and got kicked.

Why is the media covering ten times more the death of a criminal who tried to escape from the police rather than this atrocity?
Both crimes occurred in France. The difference is that Lola was White and she wasn’t a criminal.
