The first real problem in the agentic economy will not be sending money.
It will be deciding whether someone actually earned it.
An AI agent hires another agent to complete a task.
The payment goes through.
The deadline is met.
The file is submitted.
On paper, everything looks simple.
But then the dispute starts.
One side says the work was delivered.
The other says it missed the brief.
One source says the result is acceptable.
Another source says key conditions were not met.
A normal smart contract can check the clean parts.
Did the wallet pay?
Did the deadline pass?
Did the transaction happen?
Ethereum and Solana are excellent for that kind of deterministic execution. Same input, same code, same output.
But they are not built to read messy evidence, understand intent, compare context, and judge whether a promise was actually fulfilled.
