Liverpool are expected to turn Inward for their next sporting director, with David Woodfine emerging as the man lined up to replace Richard Hughes.

Woodfine is already deeply embedded in the football structure at Anfield. He joined Liverpool in 2014 as a scouting & recruitment coordinator, later becoming Head of Football Projects & Scouting Operations and then Director of Loan Management.
