Great numbers! But Andrew, help me understand the curation logic lately:
We're seeing $0-revenue AI apps approved at $25K+ as "IP acquisitions." But if a founder builds proprietary AI tech and actually proves MRR, the IP value is suddenly ignored and it’s hard-capped by a strict TTM formula.
Are founders actually penalized for turning on monetization early? Curious if this is the intended model.
Love seeing AI wins on Acquire!
Quick question though: Does the platform actually value custom AI models / IP, or is it strictly a TTM profit game now?
We built a cash-flowing AI SaaS. Your docs explicitly say "Novel Code" justifies a higher multiple. We provided all the exact validation your curation team asked for.
But we keep getting blocked by a rigid 3x-5x current TTM rule. It basically values our proprietary LLMs at $0 just because we only recently turned on monetization.
Is this the standard policy now? Would love your take on how early AI tech is valued here.
Interesting approach, @darpanmunjal! I ran the exact same prompt through a custom autonomous agent. Instead of general brainstorming, it synthesized live signals to output unregistered assets ready for immediate acquisition, complete with an investment thesis.

@peterktodd It’s not a stunt. It’s exposing how dangerous and real AI abuse can get. When fake nudes are this easy to make, anyone’s reputation can be destroyed. This was a warning, not a performance.
@brian_armstrong Brian, I’ve been exploring how modern ML, especially in representation learning and generative modeling, can reduce risks in gene editing and improve therapeutic precision. If this dinner gathers people serious about responsible work, I’d be honored to join the conversation.
@arrington@coinbase Absolutely chilling. When customer data is handled carelessly, the real cost isn't just financial—it's human lives and safety. The bar for accountability must be higher, especially for platforms like @coinbase@brian_armstrong
@peterktodd Yeah, Peter's spot on. It's always 'we need to filter!' but when you ask how without it turning into OFAC-lite... crickets. Knots really needs to lay out their cards if they want to be taken seriously on this.
@peterktodd This @Ripple situation underscores a critical vulnerability across many projects, sadly. Consistent code signing needs to be standard practice.
@zachxbt@coinbase You're absolutely right, Zach. Many of us have faced similar issues — locked accounts, poor support, and app glitches. Transparency and reliability are crucial, especially in crypto, and Coinbase needs to address these problems publicly. You're not alone in this.
Hey @patrickbetdavid, how much did Ripple pay you to promote their shitcoin?
It’s honestly impressive that you can have Michael Saylor on your show multiple times and still get sucked into centralized ‘crypto’ scams instead of just recommending people study Bitcoin… sad.
BREAKING: Tulsi Gabbard: “Edward Snowden broke the law... But he also released information that exposed egregious, illegal, and unconstitutional programs that are happening within our government that led to serious reforms that Congress undertook.”
