CFOs have moved from viewing digital assets as purely speculative to having utility.
The opportunity now is what crypto and stablecoins, like $XRP and $RLUSD, can do for treasury, payroll, and cross-border flows.
The game-changer: onchain markets don't stop at 5 pm or take weekends off. That opens the door to new ways to put idle cash to work around the clock and to empower treasury as a strategic value driver.

Across three stages, the program covers where finance is heading: liquidity and settlement, tokenization of real-world assets, stablecoins in bank-grade production, the first year of the spot XRP ETFs, AI agents that move money, post-quantum security, and David Schwartz on what’s next for the XRP Ledger.
RESEARCH: APAC accounts for 51.2% of identified stablecoin payment volume, making it the largest regional hub. As use moves beyond trading, APAC is becoming a proving ground for regulated payments, treasury and settlement where compliance-first stablecoins, including @Ripple’s $RLUSD, gain relevance.
Today, the Clarity Act failed to advance in the Senate, a tremendous missed opportunity for American consumers, the digital asset industry, and U.S. competitiveness.
What it doesn't change: Ripple and $XRP stand on settled ground.
The Clarity Act may have fallen short, but the need for clear rules has not gone away. And neither has Ripple's commitment to helping build them. https://t.co/p4jb3YeJts
1/ This one stings. Our team gave everything we had to get the Clarity Act across the finish line. So did most of the industry. This was an opportunity bigger than Ripple or one company - we did this for the industry, for consumers and to cement the US’s position as the crypto capital of the world and as a leader in the future of finance. Ultimately, consumers and U.S. competitiveness got left behind.
2/ A post mortem needs to be done on why this failed (more from me on that in the days ahead). The politics of the democrats (the anti-crypto army) was elevated over good policy.
3/ There is still reason for optimism for crypto in the United States. Now, the SEC, under Chair Atkins, and the CFTC, under Chair Selig, will continue to work hard to issue rules to fill the legislative gap and we will continue to be actively engaged in that rule making process.
4/ Ripple's business has never been stronger — real demand across traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem. A missed vote in Washington doesn't change our momentum, our global footprint, or our customers.

This bill isn't just a compromise…it's the product of real, substantive trades policymakers made to get here.
I said this many months ago: perfect can't be the enemy of good…
and let's be clear: those trades weren't small. This isn't a deal Senators should be ‘settling for’ — it's a deal that they should stand behind.
Senate: the world is watching and voters are watching. Now is the time to vote yes.
Every stablecoin issuer says it's regulated.
A money transmitter license, a state trust charter, and federal prudential supervision all qualify and carry different reserve rules, verification requirements, and outcomes if the issuer fails.
$RLUSD was built for the stricter reading of that word: a limited-purpose trust charter, segregated reserves, and monthly independent CPA attestation with a federal supervisory layer conditionally approved on top.

Every CFO I speak with is thinking about AI. The harder question isn’t whether to adopt it, it’s how to ensure confidence and clarity of AI within critical financial operations. That question is especially important in treasury, where governance, explainability, and human accountability aren’t optional. That’s why we’ve taken a different approach with GSmart, which we’re expanding today at Ripple Treasury.
Instead of building AI alongside treasury, we’re building intelligence into the way treasury already works: grounded in an organization’s policies, data, and workflows, with deterministic financial logic and people remaining in control of financial decisions. We describe this as Treasury-Native AI".
GSmart AI capabilities are already in production with our enterprise customers, and today’s expansion is another step toward what we believe the Office of the CFO needs next: technology that doesn’t just help teams understand their cash, but helps them act on it, with clarity.

The ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed monthly independent attestation for July is now live! Some late-summer highlights…
1/ RLUSD crossed $2B this month, with over $1B issued on the XRP Ledger alone. Not even two years in, we’re very excited about what’s ahead. Market cap isn’t everything, but some milestones are worth celebrating (this one especially) 🚀 https://t.co/RJhyWyYJaF
2/ Ripple made strategic investments in ZILO and Licuido to expand digital capital markets infrastructure on the XRP Ledger, with ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed serving as the regulated cash leg for transactions involving tokenized assets. https://t.co/RODrBonUm0
3/ @Bybit_Official launched Phase 2 of its RLUSD Hold & Earn program after surpassing $50M in assets under custody in just 11 days. https://t.co/NkQdzNbUSH
4/ Ripple joined @ClearpoolFin and @CicadaCredit to bring institutional lending to the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD as the credit asset for loans to fintechs, payments companies and other businesses. https://t.co/cuQLMgJoZt
5/ Ripple, @MCSocialVenture, @BlockBima and @Fortunecreditld put ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed to work in Kenya, helping small businesses access insurance and credit faster and more efficiently. TL;DR: a 97% reduction in settlement time, at 3,000x lower cost. Real-world utility in action. 🌍 https://t.co/c7qoZfYBeY

What does prime brokerage look like in the digital asset era?
A prime broker gives you two things: access to trade everywhere, and the balance sheet to do it efficiently.
Onchain markets are rewriting both, and @MikeHiggins, International CEO of Ripple Prime, explains how in under 60 seconds.⏱️
Faster, cheaper cross-border payments for humanitarian aid and 80% of Ripplers donating and volunteering. Seems pretty net-positive to us. 👀
