A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST 🧬

Before Evolastion goes any further, I want to say something honestly, so please read before you mint and get on board.

I've been involved in NFTs since 2021.

Before Evolastion, everything I created was 1-to-1 art. One piece, one idea, one NFT at a time.

Evolastion is different.

It's my first generative collection.

10,000 unique pixel apes, generated from different traits, combinations and ideas inspired by the pixel-art PFP culture that made me fall in love with NFTs in the first place.

You can probably see the influences.

The early pixel characters.
The apes.
The weird internet culture around them.
Evolastion is not trying to pretend that none of that existed.
It's a tribute.
It's a joke.
It's my own take on that culture.

And yes...

It's also a little bit of a joke about me.
It's a JOAK.
If you understand the humor, you probably understand Evolastion. 😂

I'm also not sure if I should call myself an "artist".

I create things.

Sometimes they're NFTs.
Sometimes they're illustrations.
Sometimes they're completely stupid ideas that somehow become projects.

Evolastion is one of those ideas.

But here's what I believe:

The NFTs themselves are just images.

The real value of a collection is the people who decide to be part of it.

That's why the Joakers matter so much to me.
They were here before Evolastion.
They supported my previous work.

And now they're part of the next evolution.

I also want to be very clear about something else.

Evolastion is not being created primarily as an investment.

Could someone make money from it?

Of course.

It's an NFT collection. Anything can happen.

But that's not the promise I'm making.

I'm not going to promise that your NFT will make you rich.

I'm not going to invent fake utility just to have something impressive to put in a roadmap.

I'm not going to promise a huge company, a metaverse, a game, or ten thousand things that sound great on a website but never happen.

What I can promise is that Evolastion is something I genuinely want to keep building.

And there's one more thing I want to be honest about.

I have a daily job.

I have a life outside NFTs.

I'm not a full-time NFT founder with a team of twenty people behind me.

Sometimes I'll be extremely active.

Sometimes I'll disappear for a few days because real life gets in the way.

There will be periods where Evolastion gets most of my attention.

And there will be periods where it gets less.

That's reality.

I'm not going to pretend otherwise just because it sounds better.

But I've been doing this since 2021.

I've created through good markets, bad markets, hype and silence.

And I'm still here.

So Evolastion isn't something I'm planning to launch and forget.

I'll continue creating.
I'll continue experimenting.
I'll continue supporting the community.

Sometimes more.

Sometimes less.

But I'll be here.

So if you mint an Evolastion, I want you to know what you're actually joining.

Not a promise of wealth.

Not a fake roadmap.

Not a corporation pretending to be a community.

Just:
