I actually had a long thread prepared to clear up the misunderstanding but thought it was best to ignore the rumors, but the one who spread this rumor included an article, and it’s very interesting how they didn’t add the comment section of that article.

that show is extremely popular in korea even collaborating with brands like samsung and hyundai (btw the pop up store op mentioned had over a 100 000 visitors making it the second highest attendance of a pop up store in korea for 2023 but ofc op didn’t include that, i’m only mentioning this cause op did) and even having a long list with other idols mentioning the show, doing a simple google search will show you how a very broad audience enjoys this show, the general public doesn’t know about the author’s controversies especially around that time (august - sept 2023) when the show had it’s peak and was a trend in sk, it’s very unfair to blame the idols for the controversies of the author especially since it wasn’t widely known only by people who were active in communities.

(btw i’m saying this after talking to multiple k-fans and ACTUALLY doing research)
