It was a great experience visiting the Patna Book Fair 2025, where I was immensely impressed with the vivid collection of books. I also had the pleasure of interacting with people who are not only fond of books but truly love them.
I have been a part of the Patna Book Fair since 2010, when I used to prepare for the IIT-JEE. The Patna Book Fair 2025 is a revival of those memories as well.

The Chhota Imambada, officially known as the Hussainabad Imambara Mubarak, is a magnificent historical monument located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Built by Muhammad Ali Shah, the third Nawab of Awadh, in 1838, it was constructed as a place of congregation for Shia Muslims, particularly for the mourning rituals during Muharram. It also serves as the final resting place for the Nawab and his mother.

Husainabad Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar)
Tallest Clock Tower in India: At about 67 meters (220 ft), it is considered the tallest clock tower in India.
Built in 1881: It was constructed by the Hussainabad Trust to mark the arrival of Sir George Couper, the Lieutenant Governor of North-West Province.

Architecture: It showcases a beautiful fusion of Victorian and Gothic architectural styles.
Designer: It was designed by Richard Roskell Bayne, and its structure is often compared to London's Big Ben.
Unique Features: The clock parts were made of gunmetal, and it features a gigantic pendulum that is 14 feet long. The dial is designed in the shape of a 12-petalled flower.

Original Purpose (Baradari): The building housing the gallery was originally built in 1838 by Nawab Mohammad Ali Shah (the third Nawab of Awadh) as a summer house, known as the 'Baradari' (meaning 'having twelve doorways').
