Love the pixel. I just got the 10 pro on a deal. Surprisingly I was 'downgrading' from the S26 ultra because I had to send it back due to the screen causing eye strain even when the privacy display was off!
Made me realise one UI was clunky anyway... This pixel is next level for intelligence and UI. Plus, the cameras are so natural. I prefer the composition Vs Samsung.
V happy.
Apple has confirmed that price increases are coming to its products due to ongoing memory supply constraints.
Tim Cook delivered the news in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, calling the increases "unavoidable."
@RinoTheBouncer For me it was Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series.
I played it for the first time and turned it off. Months later came back to it and played it straight through until completion.
Im guessing you're in North America. As airdrop and iMessage are not as important here. Btw I'm not trying to be a dick haha. I find your opinions interesting.
The reality is all these phone companies are screwing us over anyway. I have been using apple since the 4s up until the 16pro. When the features didn't release I switched everything and my whole ecosystem over to android. So I'm not a crazy android head who hates apple. I just got tired of falling for their fancy words and clean presentations and realised there's so much more innovation out there.
I respect your opinions completely, I was likely with your opinions before my switch haha.
To be honest, the monopoly the big three have (Apple, Samsung, Google) just creates such a boring landscape for tech...
And I get you with the AI thing. But unfortunately, the world is and will continue charging towards AI. My opinion is that you may as well get ahead to gain an edge. That's something android has allowed me to explore further on a OS level.
I'm also in a privacy rabbit hole ATM... And it's different for you because your government haven't blocked apple's cloud encryption (advanced data protection)... The UK has and Apple had to play ball. That concerns me a lot. Android as a whole and pixel gives me options to look into things like graphene and not just accept my data is not mine. :)
Kind of ironic that apple users pay flagship prices for phones 'built for apple intelligence' that didn't even get support for the apple intelligence that was actually released 2 years after ๐ and far far behind the rest of the industries (androids) capabilities.
Apple built the chip specifically for it on the 16 pro's and they won't even get the advanced features on iOS 27...
Id say that's like paying for a Lamborghini, you get a notification shipping is delayed and then the dealer says you can't have that anymore, but pay again and we can give you the 2027 model ๐ฌ
I mean Google technically makes both hardware and software for its phones... But I agree they are underpowered, though owning one I can safely say day to day I can tell no difference having the tensor. I get for games and very intensive tasks the chip falls behind but hopefully from feedback over the last two years they should close that gap this pixel drop. Toys is a bit of a stretch. Android and Pixel alike are way more capable than iPhone in many areas.
@VideoGameHstry GTA 4 without question. I wish it was on new gen consoles and id still be playing it every day now. The physics and attention to detail in that game is next level!
Completely up to you. Just a point on the apps though. Not sure when you last tried a flagship android like the galaxy or pixel line, but the apps are indistinguishable imo, I came from iPhone last year and loving it.
Just need the insta upload quality to improve but that's coming with android 17 so all good :)
@maybeimyapping@RinoTheBouncer Also the fact it's so easy to do as well. 3 clicks ยฃ20 spent and a new skin (to play with in first person btw!)...
COD used to be a movie, now it's a short! ๐ฃ๏ธ
