🏎️ Mayor Zohran Mamdani rode a go-kart at Coney Island's Electric Eden Raceway on Monday morning as he announced the city is deploying so-called "PIT crews" to "rapidly build digital solutions to public problems."
The five PIT—or “Public Interest Technology"— crews will aim to make City services easier to access for working New Yorkers by designing, building and launching solutions on accelerated timelines, according to City Hall.
