Catalytic converter theft is on the rise, but you can protect your ride. Check out these tips:
1️⃣ Etch your VIN on the converter
2️⃣ Invest in a cat converter plate or a cage.
3️⃣ Park in well-lit areas or near building entrances where there’s high foot traffic.

@104PCC
Keep your home a sanctuary, not a target!
Enhance home protection by combining smart security measures with off-site storage for your most precious belongings. Using a safety deposit box at a secure facility ensures high-value items stay protected even if the home is compromised.
Today, we welcomed two NYPD officers from the @NYPD104Pct to our Ridgewood Main Office Branch to discuss fraud awareness & scam prevention. They provided valuable information on common scams & tips for protection. We appreciate their partnership in keeping our community safe.
Come join us and @NYPD104Pct for our meeting. Have a conversation with the Precinct CO. Ask questions about your concerns with your neighborhood. Meet your neighbors.
We want to warmly congratulate our former evening platoon commander, Capt Sachi Singh, on becoming the CO of the 💯th Precinct!
