People are talking about Anderson’s price, but this is what City always do.
They don’t give others a chance when it comes to their first choice target. They just go all in and do whatever it takes.
You might call it reckless but that’s exactly why they’ve been the best in England.

Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland was NOT having it when rival Man United & Arsenal fans kept TRASH-TALKING him & calling him LAZY to Youtuber John Nellis so Haaland confronted them and they all instantly switched up 💀🤣👀
“He doesn’t strike me as a man that got punch power… If I get a sweep onto the nose, he’s toast”
“He’s a bit of a melter”
“He doesn’t have to run a lot, maybe a few sprints… I much prefer athletic players… I’d go for Haaland as laziest in the league.”
🚨Daniele De Rossi ; The Manchester United I Never Joined
🗣️Reporter: Were you ever really close to Manchester United?
🗣️De Rossi:
Close? I was more than close I was thinking about it seriously. If I ever left Roma, Manchester United was the club I couldn’t ignore.
🗣️Reporter: Why Manchester United specifically?
🗣️De Rossi:
Because they were different. Not just a big club the club. The history, the mentality, Old Trafford I grew up watching them dominate football. You don’t forget that.
🗣️Reporter: Did you ever speak to Sir Alex Ferguson?
🗣️De Rossi:
Yes, I met him. Very briefly, during the 2006 World Cup period. But when Sir Alex Ferguson is in front of you, it’s not a normal conversation you feel his presence immediately. I was young, maybe even too respectful to push the moment further.
🗣️Reporter: Was a transfer ever really close?
🗣️De Rossi:
There were moments conversations, interest. But nothing final. Roma always made their position clear, and I never forced an exit.
🗣️Reporter: Why didn’t it happen in the end?
🗣️De Rossi:
Two reasons: loyalty to Roma and honestly, Manchester United’s midfield at that time. You’re talking about players like Keane and Scholes. You look at that and think This is not a normal challenge.
🗣️Reporter: Do you regret not making the move?
De Rossi:
I don’t regret my career. But yes Manchester United was the one club outside Italy that I always wondered about. The one that got away, maybe.
