Robert Pattinson: “I think I’ve actually brought my biological age down a bit. No, I haven't taken a test, because in my mind I’m making it younger, but if I did it and they’re like, ‘Hmm, your biological age is like 80’ – I don’t want to find that out. (laughs).”

Trump is trying to shift the decision about who gets to vote from the states to his administration, using benign sounding administrative procedures, and an executive order that few people are paying attention to. There’s nothing more important to be aware of right now than this. Details here: https://t.co/8dvrOO8Zy6
When the illusion finally shatters, what remains isn't disappointment,it's humiliation.
The man you poured your faith into was never a visionary, never a savior, never even remotely exceptional.
He was a hollow fraud wrapped in ego, fueled by noise, and sustained by endless self-promotion.
Every boast, every grand promise, every display of swagger crumbles the instant reality enters the room.
What looked like confidence was arrogance.
What looked like strength was insecurity.
What looked like leadership was little more than a carefully marketed illusion.
Scratch beneath the surface and there's no hidden brilliance, no master strategist, no misunderstood genius. Just an impulsive, self-absorbed figure stumbling from one failure to the next, desperately trying to drown incompetence in a torrent of bluster and spectacle.
In the end, the strongman image collapses into exactly what it always was: cheap theater.
A gaudy performance.
A caricature masquerading as leadership.
A salesman peddling an image he could never live up to.
And the hardest part isn't watching the act fall apart.
It's realizing how long you applauded it, defended it, and mistook obvious bullshit for substance.....
@Mars01722137923@shaunvlog_ Exactly! I know how to stay away from a gator but them damn bugs show up everywhere! I can't get away from them here in the south. 🪳🪳
@Mars01722137923@shaunvlog_ I'd take an alligator over a palmetto bug (cockroach) any day of the week. They are my all time worst, most horrible living thing, nemesis!
i was not expecting them all to be there 😭 the Dune: Part Three trailer was exquisite; I got chills!! Denis Villeneuve said this is the best one.. I cannot wait to see it. Also robert pattinson i love you ✨ thank you for the invite

Scientists in Atlanta were stopped from criticizing the Trump admin at a scientific conference, so let me do it here:
Trump is destroying biomedical research in America, and it will take decades to get back on track.
Spread the word. Stand up for science.
The Trump administration just paid Invenergy $765 million to cancel four wind projects. That brings the running total to roughly $2.5 billion in taxpayer money spent to stop energy from being built.
Think about that.
At a time when electricity demand is rising, the Trump administration is spending billions to reduce the amount of power that could reach the grid.
Trump has spent years attacking wind turbines as ugly and inefficient. He is entitled to his opinions about how they look. He is not entitled to make taxpayers finance those opinions.
Seven states have already sued over earlier agreements. Federal courts have repeatedly found legal defects in this administration’s efforts to halt offshore wind development. The administration has cited national security concerns while providing little public evidence to support them, and judges have said they were not convinced.
Strip away the politics and what remains is hard to defend.
Billions in taxpayer money paid to private companies to cancel planned energy projects during a period of rising demand.
Governments usually spend money to build things.
This administration is spending billions to make sure some things never get built.

Hydrogen peroxide alone does not dissolve or strip a polyurea or polyurethane coating, which is what was just added to the Reflecting Pool. However, applying industrial-strength peroxide can degrade the polymer structure, leading to swelling, discoloration, or delamination if the coating was improperly applied. So it's safe to assume the coating was not applied correctly to begin with. The substrate must be completely cleaned, dried, and properly primed before applying polyurea/polyurethane.
The damage is not the work of left-wing vandals. The damage was caused by the people who were paid $15 million for a job they are not qualified to do. This is a mixture of incompetence and ignorance. But hey, the pool guy was a Trump donor, so he got the no-bid government contract based on his donations, not his skill or knowledge.
The Lessons I Learned from My Dad
I am not the man my father is.
I am trying. Some days closer. Some days farther.
He never sat me down and explained these lessons. He lived them. I’m still learning them.
Show up.
The kitchen table. The hospital room. The funeral. The picket line. The call from the son who won’t answer.
Show up.
Most days that’s the whole job.
My whole life I watched him do it. Not for cameras. Not for headlines. Not because there was something in it for him. He showed up because someone needed him.
I learned that grief doesn’t make you special.
My father buried a wife and daughter. He buried a son. Yet he never treated grief as a claim on other people’s sympathy. Instead, it made him notice theirs.
A mother who lost a child. A father sitting beside a hospital bed. A kid scared about what comes next. A son who lost his mother, his sister, his brother.
He always noticed.
I learned that power is not the point.
The people who chase power eventually confuse the office with themselves.
My father never did.
Whether he was a county councilman, a senator, vice president, or president, he was the same man.
The title changed.
He didn’t.
I learned that family comes first.
The train from Wilmington wasn’t symbolism.
It was every night.
He read to us. Showed up to games. Sat through hospital rooms. Waited up for children who were lost.
And when the day came that the country and the family could not both have him at full strength, he chose family. He relinquished the last chapter of how he wanted to be remembered. And he never complained about it.
Most of all, I learned that love is not soft.
Love is discipline.
Love is showing up at one in the morning when nobody is watching.
Love is answering the phone.
Love is staying.
Love is getting back up after life knocks you down and doing it all again tomorrow.
That love saved my life.
I’ve failed at many of these lessons, sometimes in very public ways.
He loved me anyway.
That’s the last lesson.
I am not trying to become my father.
I am trying to carry what he gave me.
And if I can do that, even imperfectly, that will be enough.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad. I love you.
@AJamesMcCarthy Nope! I’m the one panicking when my cats do the stare because it’s usually a disgusting roach and I feel like burning the house down. 😖
Reminder: our friend Uncle Eugene @eugenehmg and his @catsonmars_ua shelter in Ukraine are still rescuing beautiful kittens like this and trying to find new homes for them.
Danielle Levitt talks about Robert Pattinson being her favourite person she’s ever photographed.

If you had told me 10 years ago that a billionaire would accuse humans of drinking too much water in 2026 because data centres need it to power the AI tech that is now threatening our entire way of life, I would have told you to write a better Bond villain, because wtf?
Just finished watching “The Drama” starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya.
This is a fantastic film that’s hard to describe. It’s funny, dark, has moments of intensity and suspense, as well as tearjerker segments.
9/10 for me. Best film I’ve seen in a while.
