Robert Pattinson reflects on turning 40 this year:
"In terms of what you want in life shifts quite dramatically. I managed to stretch out my adolescences until I was about 36! My birthday is in late spring, so all my life I’ve always made a huge deal about my party, and while turning 30 felt like more of a milestone, I didn’t enjoy 40 much. I had a little birthday party, but felt like I really didn’t want to have one. I’m glad that I was super busy over that period, because it didn’t give me much time to dwell on it. You do change a lot in the last couple of years of your 30s, especially with being a parent too, so priorities shift."

"Even having a kid, yes, they require so much of your time, but the energy that she gives me in return is so enormous. It is such an amazing thing to wake up and have this hilarious little gremlin saying and doing the most random stuff as soon as they open their eyes in the morning! It is time well spent."

“It's not like a direct biopic at all. Is much more emotional, much more kind of surreal in a lot of ways. Then once you realize you can kind of put in quite abstract ideas and try to figure out a way to play them it became more and more interesting to me and kind of just got very, very attached to it."
