We were one of three shortlisted groups for @theAoU’s Great Neighbourhood Urbanism Award for 2022 yesterday. We didn’t win but received this beautiful poem by @IMcMillan. #cohousing#marmaladelane
EV charging infrastructure going in - 1 per 3 spaces. Ground work and fencing done by community members with @parklive doing the rest (largely in the rain so far). Helped by government grant for apartment blocks & management companies. #sustainability #cohousing
@JonnyAnstead In a car park. But not outside people’s homes - enabling the car free but social lane (and preserving access for emergencies and so forth)
This seems amazing. Belgium now requires, BY LAW:
1) public indoor spaces must display CO2 level
2) risk analysis and action plan
3) targets: level A (CO2 < 900 ppm and clean air provided at 40 m3/h/person) and level B (CO2 < 1200 ppm and 25 m3/h/person)
I've just voted on line in the @nationaltrust Members AGM.
🚨Deadline today 🚨
I voted in support of the trustees recommendations: for a modern forward looking NT & not for the right wing Tufton St sponsored "uprising"
If you are a member, protect the NT - & don't forget to vote!

Starmer saying the GRA needs to be “modernised” reminds me of Joanna Harper’s use of “meaningful competition”. Sleights of hand designed to make unacceptable things sound innocuous & even appealing to those who aren’t paying attention. We can see exactly what they mean.
