St. Josemaría is pointing to St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus. The greatest male saint after Mary was not famous for preaching, leading armies, or holding a high position in the Church. He became holy by faithfully loving his family, working with his hands, and quietly obeying God. That is a powerful reminder that holiness is not reserved for priests or religious.

God calls husbands, wives, parents, workers, and ordinary people to become saints through everyday faithfulness.

Your daily responsibilities can become the path to heaven when they are lived with love and trust in God.

In one of the most inspiring stories of maternal courage, a cat named Scarlett became a global symbol of bravery in 1996.

When a fire broke out in an abandoned garage in Brooklyn, New York, Scarlett repeatedly ran back into the burning building — five times — to rescue each of her five kittens one by one. Despite thick smoke and intense flames, she refused to stop until all her babies were safe.

The devoted mother suffered severe injuries in the process. Her eyes were blistered shut, her face, ears, and paws were badly burned, and much of her fur was scorched. After carrying out the final kitten, she gently touched each one with her nose to ensure they were alive, then collapsed from exhaustion and pain.

Firefighters who witnessed her extraordinary efforts rushed Scarlett and her kittens to a veterinary hospital for emergency treatment. The story quickly captured the hearts of people around the world. Scarlett made a full recovery and was adopted by a loving family, while her kittens also found safe, caring homes.

To this day, Scarlett remains a powerful reminder of the incredible strength of a mother’s love.

Notre faune sauvage est sinistrée par les incendies

Cet été, 27 départements sont en risque incendie élevé. Près de 40 000 hectares sont déjà partis en fumée. Sans oublier la canicule qui a sévi dans plusieurs départements.

Des milliers d'animaux sont morts brûlés, asphyxiés, ou de soif. Quant aux survivants, ils sont blessés, faibles et désorientés. Sans nourriture, sans eau, sans repères car leur territoire est ravagé.

Et pourtant… dans quelques semaines, la chasse rouvre. Dès le 20 septembre dans certains départements (par exemple en Seine-et-Marne, à Fontainebleau).

La Fondation Brigitte Bardot vient d'interpeller officiellement Madame la ministre Monique Barbut pour demander :
-La suspension immédiate de la chasse dans les zones sinistrées
-Le report de plusieurs mois de l'ouverture générale de la saison 2026
-Des consignes fermes aux préfets pour protéger une faune à bout de forces

En 2022, notre mobilisation avait déjà permis d'obtenir le report de l'ouverture de la chasse en Dordogne.

Nous espérons que le ministère de la Transition écologique fera droit à cette demande de moratoire sur l’ouverture de la chasse, à la fois pour des raisons écologiques et éthiques. Achever les survivants d'un désastre serait inhumain.
