Not saying this may apply to some. But ima lean towards less than. I would argue the opposite. Growing up in so much blackness made me actually hyper aware of racism. Especially being heavily policed in the era of red dogs.
I don’t think yall know what it is hence why y’all think it’s a “myth.” Southern culture is welcoming & community oriented, ppl speak, hold doors, wave to say thank you when you let them over, etc.
However, you will get checked if you go there being rude & will be handled for it.

I'm old enough and grew up in hip hop to have this opinion.... Lloyd Banks is the rapper y'all think 50 is. But 50 is a diva and attention whore so Banks was over looked.
