@ABC Logic expects a late blue surge. Only thing that stands out as an anomaly is Raman late ballot dump performance relative to Bass, especially given that they aren’t polar opposites politically. I could fathom late surge from same party in case of Eric Adams NYC but he’s centrist
@TMacBlows Kruk’s part of the family. He’s gonna be there on thanksgiving so you can listen to his homespun W Virginia VFW stories or head to living room & watch the Cowboys get beat but he’ll be there, get used to it.
@shegone03@Teacherman1986@MLB At any competitive level (nevermind MLB) have to trust your muscle memory & you can practice to change what comes natural but thinking about mechanics in the box is a hitter’s death sentence. You can certainly guess a pitch based on tendencies but swing should flow naturally.
@allthesmokeprod NYC is decades long pathetic in all hard cap sports except Shark Tank Boy mishandling Brunson free agency. Yankees stay semi-relevant since use their only weapon - overpaying stars in a soft cap sport.
@DjokovicFan_ Stan the Backhand should be to the left of Djokovic- like Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Shavers. Stan is 5th, furlong behind Murray & 10 kilometers behind the 3rd guy (who changes based on court surface).
@JClarkNBCS Just gotta stay healthy & win most series’, especially in division, then look up in late Aug & see whether we’ve caught Braves or not. In NL (L)East, we’re at minimum a WC team with our 3 top of rotation starters.
@Paul_CasellaMLB Casty is very similar to Tobias Harris. Not personality but contract & expectations. Casty was a $10 mil player we paid $20. Tobias was $20 mil we paid $43. Not their faults we chose to overpay. Tobias polished, Casty direct/abrupt so fans experienced cognitive dissonance.
@BryceWayne10s@TunedIntoTennis Disagree, a middle class kid who can’t afford a ton of private lessons (just hits with dad or mom) & wins 100 consecutive king of court will not have a home for long…all other paying customers faking injury, on side crying. “We don’t have a group where you fit. Best of luck!”
@TunedIntoTennis Somebody loses point play in tennis. Indoor baseball underhand flips have near 100% success rate & everbody thinks the ding off the $600 bat into the netting was really a 3rd deck at Yankee Stadium.
@TunedIntoTennis In America, seeking most talented players is bad for business. Seeking most affluent is great for business…a really talented 10u player will actually be asked to leave since the rich kids who pay $150 hr for private lessons sign up for indoor travel ⚾️ underhand flips w/$600 bat
@TheTennisLetter Maybe play an aggressive kick on 1st serve rather than the one she couldn’t land at all…just saying it makes sense to take a house money gambling approach vs a prime Sinner. You play his game, top 10s lose every set 6-2 or 6-3.
@TheTennisLetter Always wonder if someone really has your number why player wouldn’t try something extreme in a major. The worst can happen is 6-0, 6-0. Maybe sit inside baseline & play everything out of the air or on short hop & 2nd serve underhand to eliminate doubles…2 bagels worst outcome.
@scubaryan_ Drummond is a HOF-er caught up in analytics nightmare. Analytics depts eliminated the C position in his prime. Has 3 rebounding titles. It’s like my kid, can drag bunt, slash bunt, sac, push hit & run yet D1/2 🎾 interest/offers, baseball D3. ⚾️ analytics now = 1 HR per wk & 30Ks
@MikeSielski Don’t disagree. Hurts fan but he’s risk averse & can but doesn’t throw crossing routes, 20 yards down middle or 50/50 balls. Hurts wins & values the turnover battle. Maye not better but style suits AJ more. Only way could’ve appeased AJ here was 2-way baseball as OF with Phils.
@InspecteurAris That’s also a tough angle since he played 1 handed so more muscular on right side, but Fed’s calves are ripped, footwork was Arthur Murray-esque, maintained lean muscle for longevity. The more upper body bulk, the more pounding on knees, feet, ankles with all the stops/starts.
@nbarealist23 The sky hook allowed Kareem to play forever at an elite level offensively without having to go through everybody. Similar to the way Tim Duncan could survive 8 - 12’ away off the glass. If you have to go through Shaq, Marc Gasol, Steven Adams, you wear some lumps.
@gehrig38 Right, Isner had a bigger serve, Chang had cat-like movement, Agassi better offensive return of serve, but big 3 (Novak, Rafa, Fed) combined skill & athleticism to be better overall players than those named.
@RazOlsRF I understand its a gentleman’s game but if you play serve & volley & stand at the net entire match, you should expect the ball to be hit directly at you at times unless it’s a full overhead or similar stroke that could potentially concuss or puncture a lung.
