@Ironkai123 Why do we need these players ? One is a SS/CF and other one moves like a striker on the wing. Plus either of them would cost a lot of money.
We’ve seen Wirtz take plenty of corners and not really put it into a good danger zone. Szoboszlai is more accurate from both corner sides hence why we see him taking both more often but usually it was Wirtz with one side and Szobo the other. I really think Wirtz actual best position is SS where he can link up with the strikers in tight spaces or with through balls(which is how he got most of his assists) he’s not a good CAM, at least not in the prem.
@AnfieldDistrict Great player and I would be happy if we got him, but I would really prefer a player with a larger body frame like a B. Kamara that plays for Villa. Although injuries is a worry for that player too.
@AnfieldPages Currently 2/10. But if we get Barcola + Amis Hadj Moussa as our wingers, a physical duel winning midfielder then it’s a 8/10. And if we can add Angel Gomes + a Rb who can play Lb like a Devyne Rensch then it becomes a 10/10 window.
@iiyo7a We fans on this app are literally scouting better than Hughes 😭😭😂 Cause there’s no logical reason we pay up to €75m for Sarr or €90m for Minteh when we could get this dude PLUS William Gomes for under €100m 😭😂
@thisisanfield William Gomes + Anis Hadj Moussa would cost a combined fee less than €100m. Both pact left-footed dribblers, with decent shooting. Both are also capable of using their right foot and switching flanks in-game. One 20 and the other 24, so still young.
@iiyo7a The fact that we could get this dude and William Gomes for less than €100m but aren’t even linked to either of them and we’re willing to spend close to €80m on just one of “Minteh” or “Sarr” 😭😭
@ZaanTalksFooty Bring Anis Hadj Moussa and William Gomes. They would both probably cost less than €100m. Both left footed but can use their right foot, Explosive, great dribblers, decent shooters, and can switch flanks to the left and still be impactful.
