Arttaca Visits Martos Gallery at Art Basel Hong Kong
For their first year at the fair, the Chinatown-based gallery dedicated their entire booth to a solo showcase of Keith Haring.
The centrepiece of the presentation is an exceptional diptych painted with spray enamel on sheet metal panels. These pieces were originally part of a massive mural created in the fall of 1984 along New York City’s FDR Drive and the East River.

It Takes Two Wrong To Make It Right by Zoe Alameda
A perfect image is destined to fail. An object transcribed by an image is subject to my movement. From far away, the image appears clear. I see two hands, one Toyota. I step closer. Desire accelerates without hope for the future. The image morphs into lines of compression encasing blue and green shadows, the paint under glowing faintly pink.

#ArttacaDialogues with Luuk Van Raamsdonk
Lens-based artist and researcher based between the Netherlands and Belgium. Luuk’s practice is rooted in curiosity, using photography to explore memory, absence, and the space between what is visible and what remains unsaid.
His approach is introspective and deeply observational, guided by a belief that photography offers a way to understand people, places, and the emotional undercurrents that shape our lives.
.
#ArttacaDialogues is our series where we explore the voices and visions shaping contemporary art and photography.

Not my memory by Paulina Sadrak
This work started as a response to an unexpected discovery: a box of undeveloped photographic negatives found in the trash. Likely from the 1950s, the images had never been printed, existing only as fragments of someone else's life. Without names or context, they raised a simple question: what happens when a memory no longer has an owner?
