@AndrettiIndy@AndrettiIndy , can you let us know what you guys are up to in DC? Us local fans would love to attend if it’s a public event, but there’s no mention of anything on @IndyCar media channels.
Met Alex Zanardi multiple times from 96-98 in the Cart paddock. Raced #4 on my kart, too. After writing a letter to him in 2001 post - crash, he responded 6 years later with the letter on the right. Pure class, pure racer, always. #alexzanardi#indycar
@dINDYmals GA is good, but beware that a lot of people grab spots early and set up tents / tarps that sort of reserve their spots in the best areas. They’re supposed to break them down each day, but I don’t think that always happens. Just be prepared to stake out a spot early
@champwebdotnet Tracked looked great, wasn’t a fuel save race , passing was possible. Overall very good with multiple strategies and a new winner for this season. I’ll take it
@AskOffTrack Dad and mom took my sister and I to the 1996 Nazareth race followed by Michigan 500. I can still remember walking at track level before ascending the grandstand and hearing turbo V8s. Became a Zanardi fan and ran the number 4 on my kart
@By_NathanBrown Thanks for your reporting. I emailed @IndyCar , @jdouglas4 and @IMS requesting a public statement. Their silence is deafening and it makes me think twice on the money I spend on tickets, merch, etc. The tweet is still up
