After the visuals were locked, I treated it like a short film rather than just an AI video.

I added voice-over, dialogue, music, radio/static ambience, mechanical sounds, footsteps, cinematic impacts and the recurring Sender Signal.

With the help of Grok Ask and CapCut.

The sound was designed to move from Cold War espionage into the modern world.

The final result is a 3+ minute short film about a man who slept through the collapse of the world he knew…

…only to wake up and discover that the revolution had changed its operating system.

— The story evolved

The first version wasn’t the final version.

I kept adding scenes where they actually helped the story: the abandoned facility, the passage of time, the new world, the mission and eventually Burnie’s closing statement.

I wanted the ending to explain what Burnie actually stands for, rather than ending on a random joke.
