Joined a local branch of a worldwide market leading tech company, and I'm surprised at how old school the training module is.
I am brought in to revamp it, and I can already tell three weeks in that it's a very steep hill to climb.
While moving on to a new company is exciting, leaving the current one is heartbreaking. I'm having a hard time pretending I'm anything but devastated.

I’ve been at only 1 job since I graduated from university. I’ve done many roles and advanced within the same organisation, but it’s still only one job. So the feeling of being poached and offered a job feels validating, especially coming from a big multinational corporation.
