Despite my busy week, my heart kept reaching out to Lady Joy. I visited her few days ago and what I saw broke my heart. She is bedridden, unable to move or even use her crutches due to severe leg pain.
She has been due for a second surgery since last year, but the cost is ₦1 Million. The pain she is in is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
The Goal: 20 people giving ₦50,000 each will settle this.
Please help me tag anyone who can assist. If you want to verify, speak or do video call with her, please DM me for her number. Please retweet/share to help Joy walk on her feet again 🥲

This is nuts 😭😭
I've experienced some crazy Twitter-moments before, but opening the app to the best striker in history posting and tagging me is by far the most insane thing 😂
I’ve met a lot of people in Bristol over the years, but one person I would really like to meet is the person who designed the cycle path through The Centre.
The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.
Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time.
To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge.
Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
I am very pleased to note that Liberty School, Ikota, the school that Ms Folake Olaleye referenced in the quoted video has issued a statement on the issue.
I think that their statement (below) is compassionate and supportive. It includes offers to help get her children back into school and financial assistance. I hope that Ms Olaleye takes the school up on their offers.
Added to the support that many kind-hearted Nigerians have rendered, I pray to hear good news in the near future that she is doing well, her children are back in school and her life is back on track.
Do you remember this story?!
Well, Mrs @AdamsDaser wrapped that shit up, relocated to the UK, went back to school, & graduated last month with an MSc in Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
I don't know if she plans to come back home (🤭), I'm just glad she's in a better place! ❤️
“THE WILLIAMS BROTHERS”
(Kweku The Traveler)
Inaki Williams, the elder brother of Spanish wing sensation and Euros 2024 winner, Nico Williams had just turned 20 when he asked his mum, “How did we come to Spain?”
His mum told him, “Sit down, I think you’re ready to hear the story of papa and me now.”
For years, nobody knew that side of Inaki Williams who was now an Athletic Bilbao star with his brother, and his parents refused to tell him the story until he turned 20.
His parents, Maria and Felix left Ghana shortly after they got married, they crossed the Sahara desert without food or water.
