@MatthewJLB@chesterbelloc3 The (please rise) closing blessing is interrupted (please sit) at my church. They practically read the entire bulletin at the end of mass then tell you to check the bulletin for more details. (Please rise again for your dismissal)
Iβd like to pray the St. Michael Prayer instead
When I see questions like these that you are proposing, I think of a story that took place in a Theology 101 class. A student spoke up saying, βHow can an ever loving peaceful god allow such evil to exist. Why doesnβt he remove all of the evil in this world?β
The teacher calmly responded, βThatβs a great question and what if God did what you asked and in the removal of evil, he started with you?β
@w1273356@tony_c_garcia@Jimfrombaseball I loved him when he played that one year with the Mets. Always seemed to have left the hanger in his jersey. His big broad shoulders were not enough to carry the weight of the woeful Mets of 1979
@shegone03 Thank you for the reminder that my teams never seem to be playing in the ballparks that allow them to do all the things that coulda woulda shoulda happened if the games were played somewhere else
