Our bear Spark had the amazing opportunity of seeing Motherwell Fire Station’s amber watch crew at the St Aidan’s Church fun day. We hope to see you again soon with our Rainbows & Brownies!

They loved showing our bear Spark how they worked.

It’s not everyday our bear called Spark gets to have its picture taken with the @GlasgowWarriors URC Trophy. We can’t wait to tell our Rainbows 🌈 & Brownies 🦉 all about it when we start back.

Our Rainbows & Brownies clocked up their steps to join with Brookvale Guiding to Walk to World. With thanks to @MargaretsHigh for allowing us to borrow their micro:bits for the evening, we used them to record our steps.

Our @YoungSTEMLeader Brownies were discussing what they think makes a good leader. We compared different Disney characters and here’s what they have came up with and agreed every leader has different good qualities

Our Brownies were back tonight after our Christmas break & received their copy of Glasgow Science Centre’s magazine, ‘Spark of Science’. There were a few ooohs when they seen the penguin on the front 🐧

We used @VivifySTEM’s Pipe Cleaner Tower Challenge to get the Brownies working together on their problem solving skills. They really struggled working with one hand for part of the challenge but it brought lots of laughter
