Sandro Tonali. That’s the player.
The reasons are simple
he’s a workhorse, a powerhouse, an engine. He drives the game forward and can slow it down when it demands control. He does both sides of midfield properly.
Now pair him with someone like Angelo Stiller composed, intelligent, physically solid and suddenly the midfield has balance.
Add Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Šeško ahead of them… that’s a serious spine.
That’s not a team hoping to compete that’s a team built to control games.
If Lisandro Martínez stays fit, that’s a massive boost. De Ligt? Big question mark with injuries, but if he’s available, it only raises the ceiling.
This squad can have a big season. No excuses.
The real decision that defines everything? The manager.
Get it right. Go and get Julian Nagelsmann.
🚨🗣 JUST IN - Fabrizio Romano:
"Ruben Amorim and Man Utd's management are talking about the January transfer window — the opportunities, and what to do with the players who want to play more.
"If someone joins in January, it's a player who Man Utd can trust for the present and future [no loan deals]." [@FabrizioRomano, YT]

@AliceTalksFooty The striker market looks like a risky gamble tbh. Everyone available looks like you’d probably end up needing to replace them in a year or two. I’d rather just strengthen
Get Theo in, a proper cm to partner Bruno and a goalie
