The late-night pondering of four pastor friends. We talk all things theology, leadership, culture & life - especially as they relate to the Wesleyan movement.
We make mistakes when it comes to technology every time we record....but we're so grateful for @PastorPennSays great editing skills! And no matter what the mistakes, we always have a great time at Midnight Theology. New episode drops next week, "Deconstruction vs. Demolition."
Happy New Year!! The hurry of the holidays is just behind us but leaves us asking what was all the hurry for?
Our Season 2 opener is all about “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry” by @johnmarkcomer.

New episode drops on Monday, May 3. We're talking about healing...which @pastorlarry87 might need if @swanck cuts him. 🤷 We really do love each other, we promise. Make sure to tune in!
God our Father, you have invited us to share in the supper which your Son gave to his Church. Nourish us, we pray, by his presence, and unite us in his love. Amen
Lord, in your goodness, open our eyes to your light,
and so fill our hearts with your love that we may always see and acknowledge Jesus as our anointed savior, and act on his word in sincerity and truth.
We make our prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Lord Jesus Christ you humbled yourself in taking the form of a servant and in obedience died on the cross for our salvation: grant us the faith to know you and love you that we may be found beside you on the way of the cross, which is the path of glory.
Praying through Holy Week:
Remember, O Lord, what you have wrought in us, and not what we deserve; and as you have called us to your service, make us worthy of our calling; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
From people burritos to forgetting we're an audio-only show, we have so much fun sharing our banter with you! Look for a new episode of Midnight Theology to drop April 5....since it'll officially be Easter, we're talking about the Resurrection of Jesus!
Almighty God
whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain
and entered not into glory before he was crucified: mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
March 1 we'll be dropping a new episode of @12AMTheology, talking fresh expressions of church with @reverendwild1 who recently co-authored with @reverendroz "Fresh Expressions in a Digital Age: How the Church Can Prepare for a Post-Pandemic World." Don't miss it!
