Seattle #Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald gathered his team in the locker room after they won the Super Bowl, and together they PRAYED TO GOD.
🙏🙏🙏
Macdonald is a devout Christian and openly credits his faith in Jesus Christ.https://t.co/mLSglBC1S9
You can debate Rams starting DL vs Seahawks starting DL. You can’t debate the backups. Seahawks 2nd unit is much better. Depth has been HUGE for the last 2 SB winners.
Some videos from this week of Irv Charles, the WR/special teamer Seattle recently acquired from the Jets. The Seahawks had the NFL’s best special teams in 2025, per ESPN Analytics. They added to that group with sixth-round pick Emmanuel Henderson Jr. and Charles, among others.
AJ Barner, who played through several injuries in 2025 and caught a TD pass in the Super Bowl, said he had two surgeries after the season.
“Definitely feeling better. Definitely still a process to get back out there, but by [training camp], I’m going to be ready to go.”
Cooper Kupp, who turns 33 this month, was asked whether he thought about going out on top after the Seahawks’ Super Bowl win.
“Never for a second,” he said. “I’m loving playing this game too much.”
Here was Kupp on his mindset coming off the second championship of his career:
Cooper Kupp has been on Hard Knocks with the Rams previously.
Asked about he and his Super Bowl-champion #Seahawks being on Hard Knocks this summer for training camp, Kupp says:
“It’s great. It’s great.
“It’s going to suck.”

Mike Macdonald on Derick Hall's extension on @SeattleSports ...
"He's just a great player who we feel has an even brighter future. We feel like this is just the beginning of where his career can go. We've never had a conversation on his pass rush productivity. You feel it."
Will always be thankful that you helped the Seahawks become NFL contenders year in and year out. I thank you for bringing the city, team, and 12s together for our first ever Super Bowl title.
I wish you well at CBS. Take care of yourself and family 3.
Hall: “I know we’re going to win a lot of games and a lot of championships here, so I’m willing to sacrifice whatever everybody else thought I would be willing to make ... to be with this team.”
Derick Hall says it clearly: He knew he could have waited, signed next spring for more perhaps elsewhere in free agency.
But staying in this #Seahawks locker room and culture was more important to him than more dollars.
This is what Mike Macdonald’s team environment is worth.
Kupp on his joking text to Aaron Donald about a possible return from retirement: “Don’t even think about it.”
Kupp added to Eisen: “I already nipped it in the bud. No one has to worry.”
