Area baseball coach James King died yesterday at 65.
King was the head coach at Hardin-Simmons and Western Texas College, and an asst. at Hawley & Abilene Christian School.
He was also an MLB scout for nearly 30 years. He was a joy to talk to when I saw him at practices.
I’m extremely blessed and excited to announce my commitment to SFA to continue my education and baseball career. I would like to thank God, my family, and all the coaches and people who have helped me along the way! #AxeEm 🪓 @WTCbaseball@SFA_Baseball
