Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.

@WUTangKids @KellDA Word is, Trump made over $20B in two days. Want to try asking your cult leader for a refund? Don’t you think he could refund every single MAGA that’s losing money on his inauguration if he wanted to? He won’t. He got your vote & he doesn’t give a damn about you. Learn from this.

Donald Trump’s recent statements about California’s water management and its impact on wildfires contain several inaccuracies. Here’s a fact-check to clarify the situation:

Claim 1: Water from Canada flows through Los Angeles.

Fact: California’s water supply does not originate from Canada. The state’s primary water sources include local groundwater, the Sierra Nevada snowmelt, the Colorado River, and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. There is no direct water flow from Canada into California’s water system.

Claim 2: A “water restoration declaration” was presented to Governor Gavin Newsom, which he refused to sign, preventing water from reaching Southern California.

Fact: There is no record of any “water restoration declaration” being presented to Governor Newsom. Newsom’s office has stated that such a document does not exist, calling the claim “pure fiction.”

Claim 3: Environmental protections for the delta smelt have led to water shortages that exacerbate wildfires.

Fact: The delta smelt is an endangered species native to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. While environmental regulations aim to protect such species, experts assert that these protections have minimal impact on the overall water availability for firefighting. The recent wildfires in Los Angeles were primarily driven by severe winds and extremely dry conditions, not by water shortages resulting from environmental policies.

Claim 4: Increased water flow from the north would have prevented wildfires and allowed for unrestricted water use by residents.

Fact: Wildfires are complex events influenced by various factors, including weather conditions, vegetation dryness, and land management practices. Simply increasing water flow to Southern California would not prevent wildfires. Additionally, water resource management involves balancing urban, agricultural, and ecological needs, making it impractical to allocate unlimited water for residential use without considering the broader environmental impact.

In summary, Trump’s assertions about California’s water management and its relation to wildfires are not supported by factual evidence. Our state’s water distribution is a complex system designed to meet diverse needs, and attributing wildfire occurrences to water management oversimplifies the issue.

@elonmusk You’re sighing over a measly $100M when you spent $250M buying an election and installing a clown back in the WH?
Plus, haven’t we already paid you more than enough in subsidies?

They do not want to be part of America, stop planting this “seed” in the minds of us all to try and convince us to believe it. It doesn’t matter how much you try to gaslight us by saying “it’s true”

It’s not true. It is a lie. It isn’t reality for what reality is.

It’s what you’re trying to make us believe because it’s “your truth” not the actual truth that is.

.@VivekGRamaswamy Oh, Vivek, where do we start? You’re out here saying America’s culture celebrates mediocrity over mathletes, prom queens over problem-solvers, and hey, maybe you’ve got a point about priorities. But then you turn around and want to gut the very thing that could change it: education funding.

You can’t bemoan America’s STEM talent deficit while calling for the Department of Education to be tossed like yesterday’s trash. That’s like blaming the forest for forest fires. Title I funding? Gone. Mental health support for students? Vanished. After-school programs that could’ve nurtured your future engineers? Poof.

And let’s talk about this “normalcy” you’re so ready to vilify. Not every kid has tiger parents who both work two jobs to put food on the table or a weekend science fair to fall back on. You take away federal education dollars, and you’re not just losing sleepovers and mall runs; you’re shutting the door on millions of kids from struggling families who’ll never even see the starting line, let alone cross it.

So, yeah, America might need a cultural shift toward valuing excellence, but guess what? That takes investment in schools, not defunding them. You can’t lecture us about the “Sputnik moment” while you’re busy dismantling the rocket launchpad.
