@12au60 I agree, privacy is my biggest concern. I hate that co-workers can look up my medications on my profile- disadv. of chains #hsop2012

#hsop2012 What happens if there is a discrepency between EMR, EHR, & PHR? Which has the final verdict?

[12au69 @12au69]

@12au122 Why is it that people come from all over the world to the US for healthcare purposes???.. What IS that reason? #hsop2012

[12au69 @12au69]

@12au29 Right now they provide DURs which could save someone. Using an EMR would help save a cash paying customer too. #hsop2012

[12au69 @12au69]

I like the idea of the PHR b/c some patients really want to be involved in the decision making but need the references. #hsop2012

[12au69 @12au69]

What happens if the power goes out, the system fails, or computer viruses? How is documentation continued or recalled? #hsop2012

[12au69 @12au69]

Couldn't those who are stealing the medications in the first place just take out the RFID chip and dispose of them?? #hsop2012

[12au69 @12au69]

#hsop2012 Preventable ADR -> ex: Counsel patient telling them not take a certain medication with another because of an interaction?

[12au69 @12au69]

@12au83 Yes, IOM is a federal group to improve healthcare #hsop2012
