Controversial: This block-booking trend creates Artificial hype. People not super active on social media might (subconsciously) think so many sold-out shows mean the movie's good, like, why would people book so many tickets for a bad movie? It creates FOMO.
Those seats, up to 90% of them being blocked, only open up gradually after they get an All-Clear that VIPs aren't coming, so then regular people can have them.
I mean, if there's a need, sure, block off 2-3 rows and leave the rest for regular folks, not the other way around where most are blocked and only 2-3 rows are left for normal people.

@MythriOfficial@MythriRelease From being called the worst production house in the Telugu film industry during Raja Saab, to now facing the same ticket release issue with #Peddi β nothing seems to have changed. #TicketsIssue π«€
@shreyaatwt The movie is highly overhyped. Except for 3β4 decent scenes in the second half, it's mostly lengthy conversations that become frustrating to sit through. Watched it at PVR P[XL], Hyderabad, and it didn't live up to the hype.
