The Staff of the 130th EN BDE conduct a Combat Focused PT and LPD about bridges. Soldiers first conducted PT at Sunset Breach. Then, MSG Hugo Caudillo lead the LPD about the Mabey Johnson Bridge. Thanks to USAF Exchange Officer, Capt. Rodney Padilla for this learning opportunity!

Check out our #Sappers training deployment at the Pohakuloa Training Area on Island of Hawaii. Lot's of detailed planning and coordination goes into making these training missions happen, which provides though and realistic training environment fo our #Soldiers!

Day 1 - @8thTSC Best Warrior Competition

PFC Adrian Valle and SGT Jeffrey Deshields compete in five events throughout the day as part of this four day competition. Todays events include the APFT, Packing List Layout, 3 Mile Combat Run, Obstacle Course, and Written Essay.

Sappers assigned to the 95th Clearance Company conducted their Convoy Live Fire Exercise during their rotation at PTA. A convoy live fire exercise serves to practice convoy operations and engage targets with mounted weapon systems.

The #warrior spirit moved the 8th TSC as Maj. Gen. Charles Hamilton hosted Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for East Hawaii Mr. Allen Hoe! He shared his flag from Vietnam. His son 1st Lt. Nainoa Hoe, also carried it on his last patrol in Iraq where he lost his life.

The 130th Engineer Brigade consists of a variety of expert engineer capabilities. Our Technical Engineers (MOS 12T) proficiently utilize the R10 to survey this potential airfield at Ke’amuku Range.

Congratulations to the 7 Soldiers from HHC/84th, HHC/130th, & 523rd ESC for graduating from class #05-19 of Jungle Operation Training Course (JOTC). They survived, operated, and patrolled the Hawaiian jungle for 20 days to earn the coveted Jungle Tab.
