Why 13? 1 = Neo, 3 = Trinity. It appears all throughout the Movies.

And the difference between the quotients?

11017 − 10186 = 831

In 1990s pager code:

831 = I LOVE YOU

8 letters. 3 words. 1 meaning.

And 831 was already documented pager slang by 1997, before The Matrix was released.

The Filmmakers said the movie has number play, carefully chosen names, multiple meanings and deliberate Alice echoes.

Maybe 1337 is coincidence.
