Gonzalo did a good job hosting The Roundtable chats, a sort of current affairs digest/discussion by guests from many backgrounds, with a geopolitical theme. Brian Berletic, Alexander Mercouris, Mark Sleboda, Pepe Escobar, Andrei Martyanov, Alex Christoforou, Larry Johnson, Ray McGovern, Michael Vlahos, and I'm sure I'm missing a number. I know I've learned something from all of them.
I've taken in perhaps a third of the episodes, in all of them I don't recall a single assertion that could be called falsehoods or propaganda, by the host or any of the guests. They don't have an agenda, other than providing a countering perspective that the legacy media will not. And that is what makes them so worth listening to.
I hope Lira doesn't get subjected to some Ukrainian kangaroo court, but the fact that he's been taken into custody just proves the mythical narrative of Ukraine being on the footstep of some mythical liberal democracy. In a true democracy you can criticize the powerful.
I believe the SBU plan for Gonzalo is to just hurt him enough to make him shut up, not to pursue some fraudulent conviction that puts him away for years. Basically, hurt him until he stops being a thorn in the side of the Zelensky regime.
Does this dimwit know basic history?
More Red Army soldiers died in one battle - the battle of Stalingrad - than US soldiers died in the entire war.
Over 25 million Soviets died defeating the Nazis. How many Americans died in WW2? 418,500. These are incontrovertible facts.
Lady: You raped me
Guy: No. I did not
Lady: Yes you did

Guy: uh?
Lady: “Rape is sexy”
Guy: This is insane
Lady: I’m suing you to prove it
Guy: ok
NY Jury: He didn’t rape you
Guy: Thanks
NY Jury: Now pay her $5,000,000.00
Guy: WHAT!?
World War II ended with US victory over fascism, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre
You see how they are trying to write history , fact is Red Army defeated 75% of German combat troops , yes Americans came but later in the war .
27 million Soviets died in this war.
