@HellveticFrost_ You are sweet. 😊🖤💋
I just wanted to practice logos, haven’t done any in years.. I’m glad you’re happy with the first attempt. The most black metal person I know should have his own unreadable black metal logo 🤷
@Epitome_666@HellveticFrost_ Things Viral is one of the few legitimately disturbing albums I’ve ever heard. Mostly thanks to Alan Dubin’s vocals & lyrics, which were apparently recorded while he was locked in a closet for a long time, high as balls.
@HellveticFrost_ Oh shit I didn’t even know they got back together. Fuck yes.. miserable music for miserable days. Good time for sonic masochism. Need to check this, though I doubt they’ll top their s/t album.

@HellveticFrost_ You are insanely sweet. And I realized I didn’t have anything to write a note on.. they don’t exactly have black metal cards at the post office so I went the other direction & got the most ridiculously cheesy sparkly one.🤣
I’m just happy it didn’t get lost in the cyclone. 😁💋
A bottle washes up on shore. You bend down and drag your fingers through sand. Dust made from the millions of bones left behind by humanity. You lift it up and look inside.
It’s empty.
All we left behind was empty.

"With the sluggish violence of silent words, sermons of salt will come from above, double-edged tongues sharper than the sword, infesting untouched womb of the unspoken Mystery.."
@HellveticFrost_ And the entertainment industry serves as escapism from all the suffering human greed creates. Like the fact that we live in a world where sports & entertainment are more important than education, medicine, human rights, habitability of our planet, etc.
@HellveticFrost_ It’s this “just work harder” LIE of capitalism that gives poor people just enough hope to keep being ground down by it with minimal revolt. We are so deeply indoctrinated to believe that it’s our own fault when we are fucked over by a system designed to fuck us over.
#NowPlaying Lycopolis - Amduat parts 1 & 2
Enchanting, riffy, raw Egyptian black metal incorporating Arabic melodies. Based on an ancient funerary text, the 12 tracks across 2 EPs describe the 12 Hours of Night, a map of the underworld for dead pharohs.

@HellveticFrost_ Listening for second time in a row. Sounds kinda like if Black Cilice moved out of their nightmare hellscape and into dead wastes of arctic tundra beneath the aurora borealis
@SOLETHERtheband @HellveticFrost_ I agree with Apollo on the “too much positivity.” The echoing drums parts are cool, but those really just made me have to listen to this instead.

In general I prefer my musical journeys to be more Dante and less Tolkein. 🤷

Yeah hard case for top 10 black metal shit in the last 10 years..i think the album starts so damnnn magnificentky that sometimes it feels like the level drops slightlyyy after that but nah it keeps hitting hard till the very end..🫶🫶🫶

Basically how black metal should be: Equal parts nasty and beautiful. And the long tracks don't feel long at all. Fantastic
