@elonmusk We deactivated several news accounts from Twitter when they locked the @nypost account back in 2020. It’s the second-oldest newspaper in America and we respect that kind of thing.
We lost thousands of followers across those accounts. But we stand for something.
@AJA_Cortes We print history. Sad people don’t understand that printed newspapers are more valuable to the next generation than they are to you this week.
When you subscribe to your local newspaper, you help guarantee that the history of your community is preserved for hundreds of years.
@X we own several small newspapers and have pioneered a social media platform for launch in 2024 that would integrate perfectly with X and support both X as a platform for sharing important news between local subscribers as well as support small newspapers and local media.
@elonmusk Not quite. We believe X is a means to make small town newspapers and regional publications more relevant than ever by connecting people who care about their communities enough to subscribe.
We’d like to speak with an @X representative.
What does this mean for independent media? Democracy? Direction of national welfare?

@Indian_Bronson In 2012, using an iPhone to type was amazing. It was like it new which letter you were trying for and was superior to the best Samsung phone.
Since, the typing has gotten progressively worse to the point it almost seems like it wants every guess to be 50-50. Maybe “equity”?
