JETRO主催の「日インド経済フォーラム」にモディ首相と共に出席しました。

同フォーラムには、日本企業150社以上・インド企業80社以上のほか、両国政府関係者が参加し、今次訪問を機会に両国企業間等で取り交わされた129件の協力案件が発表されました。

エネルギー、製造業等の基幹産業分野で協力関係が深化したほか、半導体、量子、AI等先端技術分野においても、投資・協力案件が拡大していること、その担い手がスタートアップや中小企業に広がっていることを確認しました。
日印経済関係の裾野の広がりを感じました。

今回の首脳会談で合意した「日印CBGイニシアティブ」の下、インド北東部アッサム州初となるバイオガス・プラントの建設が始動することも発表されました。

こうした日印協力を、「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」（FOIP）の理念の下、グローバルに展開し、持続可能で豊かな未来を共に築いてまいります。

先ほど、モディ首相と日印首脳会談を行いました。

会談では、インド太平洋地域を中心に、地域情勢について意見交換しました。

私が掲げる進化版「自由で開かれたインド太平洋（FOIP）」、そしてモディ首相が掲げる「マハー・サーガル（MAHASAGAR）」が、インド太平洋を自由と繁栄を享受する豊かな海として育てていくという目的を共有しており、共通の目標の実現に向け、戦略的協力関係を深化していくことで一致しました。

安全保障分野では、昨年改定した『安保協力に関する共同宣言』に基づき、一層の連携を図ることで一致しました。

経済安全保障分野では、官民で具体的な行動に移していくための共同宣言を発表しました。

エネルギー安全保障分野では、「パワー・アジア」の下、インドにおける石油備蓄システム強化に向けた二国間対話や、インドのエネルギー・トランジションに向けた「日印CBG（Cooperative Biogas for Growth）イニシアティブ」の立上げに合意しました。

幅広い分野で数多くの成果文書を発出し、日印の「特別戦略的グローバル・パートナーシップ」の下、戦略的な方向性を共有する信頼のパートナーとして、日印関係を更に深化させる筋道を示すことができ、大変実りの多い会談となりました。

インドは日本にとってFOIPの実現に向けた重要なパートナーです。
来年の国交樹立75周年も見据え、日印両国でインド太平洋地域、更には国際社会全体の繁栄に貢献してまいります。
