A member-led campaign by former workers of the 13th Note to save our venue and bring it under workers’ control and ownership.

Today was huge for the hospitality workers’ movement in Glasgow. Within a few hours, hundreds of our members - old + new - challenged the belligerence of their bosses and won.

We have built several cells of worker-power in a single day. Weeks where decades happen and all that.

The 13th Note still has no new tenant 15 months after closure. It has been "under offer" for 6 months.

@13thNoteWorkers would have reopened as a workers' co-op had @GlasgowCC not rejected our detailed & extensive bid, bringing well-paid jobs & community programs to the Trongate.
