As a hardcore Virat fan, it's painful to say this, but I don't think Kohli will play the 2027 World Cup.

- India cannot plan a World Cup campaign around a 39-year-old player who is already missing series due to fitness concerns.

- The team needs to move on and start preparing his replacement now.

- Instead of delaying the inevitable, India should give opportunities to the next generation and build for the future.
