We respectfully differ with the narrative of treating Traffic management, as a simple input-output equation. Traffic volume, road layout and condition, weather, school and office timings, access through bylanes, legal restrictions, bottlenecks and choke points, roadworks, incidents, pedestrian movement, driver compliance, available manpower and staff safety all influence the outcome.

From a Mertonian perspective,we believe that an intervention must be assessed not only by its intended objectives, but also by its latent effects, operational dysfunctions and unanticipated consequences. Data is valuable, but it must be interpreted in the context of actual ground conditions bringing in more empiricism.
