@rheen_ruby I am among the MANY students who benefited from lugulu. Grades,sports, social activities, spiritually. Is it good to bite the hand that fed me? During the time,canes were allowed,of course there were teachers good at caning so you had to be at the right place,right time. si siri

@rheen_ruby I state clearly what I remember,do not insult me. I am not delusional. That post is an exaggeration of what goes on in almost all schools. But I çan only state for lugulu. The discipline in Ms Mechumo time was high. But of course there were notorious people to deal with.

@rheen_ruby There was suspension and expulsion consequences for all who were caught participating in such acts. Some teachers were indeed not friendly but not in anyway brutal. Every one fears canes,it kept people in line. However after the government abolished it,it was just punishments

@rheen_ruby Lugulu girls is a school that really pushed me to perform Well and also I got enlightened spiritually. Of course there are some issues during Mrs Mechumo's time as principal things were in order. sexual accusations against teachers,also involved willing students who were punished

@rheen_ruby I've studied at lugulu girls....and somehow I think we're not talking about the same school. Mrs Mechumo was indeed strict but not heartless....that death incident I don't remember and also I think was not due to exams. Negligence of nurse is not the principal's fault.
