TOTOO PALA ANG “TELL NONE UNTIL IT’S DONE.”
Some victories are meant to be prayed over, worked on quietly, and revealed only when God says it's time. ✨🧿
Cashier: “Sir, before you leave, could you please check your receipt?”
I looked at her, confused.
Me: “Why? Did you charge me twice?”
She glanced toward her supervisor, then quietly shook her head.
Cashier: “No. Just check the last item.”
I pulled the receipt from my shopping bag. I’d bought groceries worth $86, and everything looked normal until I reached the bottom.
There was an item listed for $349.
Me: “What is this? I didn’t buy anything worth $349!”
The cashier lowered her voice.
Cashier: “I know. That’s why I’m asking you to check.”
Before I could ask another question, her supervisor walked over.
Supervisor: “Is there a problem here?”
Cashier: “The customer wants to question a charge.”
I turned the receipt toward him.
Me: “I’ve been charged $349 for something I didn’t buy.”
He barely looked at it.
Supervisor: “The system doesn’t make mistakes. You must have picked it up without remembering.”
I was stunned.
Me: “You think I walked around this supermarket carrying a $349 item and forgot about it?”
He folded his arms.
Supervisor: “If you want a refund, you’ll have to prove the charge is incorrect.”
I asked him to check the security cameras, but he refused, saying the process would take too long.
The cashier kept looking at me as if she wanted to say something but couldn’t.
Finally, I asked for the store manager.
When he arrived, I explained everything again.
He took one look at the receipt, then asked the cashier a question that made the supervisor go completely silent.
Manager: “Did you tell him what happened at register six yesterday?”
