Asylum decisions have quadrupled.

The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019.

More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

Step 5: Get elected to the European Parliament. Spend the next 21 years drawing a salary from the institution you're paid to dismantle.

Step 6: Claim £15,500 a year in expenses for an office your party was given rent-free.

Step 7: Put your wife on the EU parliamentary payroll. Take her off only when the rules force you to.

Step 8: Get investigated by the EU's anti-fraud office. Eventually have half your MEP salary docked to repay misused public funds.

Step 13: Speak in parliament fewer times than any other party leader. Fly to America at least nine times in your first year. Refuse to hold in-person constituency surgeries. Holiday in France while parliament is sitting.

Step 14: Tell the working class you're one of them. Tell them to vote against their own interests, over and over again.

You watched women celebrate at a restaurant and decided they want you dead. Let’s sit with that for a second, because that’s the actual leap you made.

A zaghrouta is a celebration sound. Women do it at weddings, graduations, birthdays, the birth of a baby. You witnessed joy and coded it as threat. That’s not about them. That’s about you.

You ask why they’re here, what they do, what their husbands do, as if you’re entitled to an intake interview before fellow diners are allowed to exist in your sightline. They’re here for the same reasons your people were: because America said they could be. The freedom you’re invoking to demand they assimilate is the same freedom that protects their right not to. You don’t get to keep the half you like.

“Take the towels off your head” isn’t a policy position. It’s a slur, and dressing it up in concern about culture doesn’t change what it is. Amish women cover their heads. Orthodox Jewish women cover their heads. Catholic nuns cover their heads. Your grandmother probably wore a scarf to church. The hijab offends you because of who’s wearing it, not because of what it is.

And the “they want me dead for being a Christian” line. Name one of those nine women at that table who wants you dead. You can’t, because you invented that threat to justify a feeling you already had. Meanwhile, Christians and Muslims worship in the same neighborhoods across this country every single day without incident. The people actually killing Americans in houses of worship in recent years have overwhelmingly been homegrown white men, not women in burkas eating dessert.

You said this isn’t bigotry, it’s about preserving your comfort. Every single person who has ever wanted a group removed from their country has said exactly that. Every one. The words are a template. “I’m not racist, I just want my neighborhood back.” “I’m not antisemitic, I just think they have too much influence.” “I’m not anti-Catholic, I just don’t trust their loyalty to Rome.” You’re reciting a script that’s older than this country, and you didn’t write it.

You’re right that you’re not alone. That’s not the reassurance you think it is. Plenty of people have felt exactly this way about plenty of groups, and history has not been kind to any of them.

Those women laughed at a restaurant. That’s the whole thing that happened today. You’re the one who turned it into something else. What a sad, hateful life you must live.

Our new report: Richard Tice signed accounts wrongly claiming £98,000 of tax exemptions

The deputy leader of Reform UK, Richard Tice, owns a property company - Quidnet REIT.

From 2020 to 2022 it paid Tice and his trust £600k in dividends. Quidnet should have paid £120k of tax on those dividends. It didn't.

Anyone with half a brain (including a sitting MP on a fat salary that employees staff) can download the public DLUHC CORE statistics on new social housing lettings in England, published every single year on https://t.co/ZY9jILjKj3.

No conspiracy, no cover-up, just basic research you and your circus could not be arsed to do.

Over the past 10 years (roughly 2.6 million total new lettings):

a) roughly 1.95 to 2.05 million went to White British lead tenants. That is 75 to 79 percent every single year. The overwhelming majority still goes to the very white working class families you love posing as champion for.

b) about 30,000 to 45,000 went to non British citizens with under 1 year in the UK. A tiny fucking fraction mostly (0.4% up until 5 years ago) that peaked at 2.5% with the Afghan resettlement and Ukraine schemes, and will go down as time goes by.

c) The rest (about 500k to 650k) to everyone else (UK non White nationals plus longer settled non UK).

d) UK nationals get 80%+ of social housing allocations steadily.

The fake image that refugees or fresh arrivals are routinely handed homes ahead of British families is pure lies and complete nonsense.

New lettings are almost entirely re lets of existing stock, not shiny new builds for migrants.
Asylum seekers pre decision have zero eligibility for social housing.

Granted refugees get kicked out of asylum support in about 28 days and then compete under the same needs based rules as every other poor person on the waiting list.

White British households still take the lions share. The numbers are right there in black and white.
