Also, in some comics as Sirens, she is hurt because Bruce seems interested and obsessed only with his being Batman and the mission.

@starry_gazelle because she likes her or because she wanted to help her, but because she doesn't want her to return to the Horde. I know that Adora is known for being repressed and not always self-aware, but people talk so little about the yearning of Adora.

@starry_gazelle This is so true, and Catra can't even play with the thought of Adora desiring her in that way. Adora desires so much that Catra likes her even a bit, even after Catra kidnapped her friends.

in fact, it's almost certain that SW adapted her manipulation of Adora based on the latter's core qualities (taking them to the extreme ofc).

@starry_gazelle Honestly, there would be so much to analyze and say about their childhood and how probably their misunderstanding of each other developed over time because of SW and the Horde in general.

@starry_gazelle On one hand, in this way Catra had an excuse for receiving the care and affection she desired, and on the other hand, Adora felt irreplaceable and able to take care of Catra (as a compensation for the fact of not being able to protect her from SW).

@starry_gazelle Also, I think SW misunderstands Catra's initial bond with Adora, she sees Catra as a figure partly similar to herself (with no extraordinary talent etc and also this is one more reason for her to hate Catra since she mirrors a condition of apparent inferiority that she hates

They are the endgame after what they went through, that doesn't mean they couldn't have had other relationships with women before or while they were separated. At the end of the day though, it's them against the world and they understand each other and help each
