Long odds imo. And not worth the sacrifice of a lot of longtime fans’ enjoyment.

No one is saying the game can’t or shouldn’t be made more accessible or engaging for new players, OR that something shouldn’t be done to to prevent players leaving the game.

My entire goddamn point is that removing addons completely IS NOT THE SOLUTION.

@martinfredin @driftingOILERS @Koopslight @jdotb Thing I can’t wrap my brain around is that people talk as if you are not *allowed* or *able* to play the game without them, and are therefore mad and yelling for their removal. Why remove something that is, in essence, OPTIONAL - yet benefits players massively? It’s nonsense imo.

A) the one-button rotation is then far and away the most eggregious example of this

B) WAs and addons don’t play the game for you, they take information already there and just present it in a way that’s far more intuitive

They used WAs and their customization options to translate combat events into text on their screen, enlarge frames/keywords as a form of communication, etc.

All of it gone now btw.
